The CMI staff has extensive experience in media education and event planning, having developed and hosted dozens of events, from intimate immersive workshops to national conventions around the country. The Newseum Institute serves as a forum for First Amendment study, exploration and education. The mission of the Washington, DC based nonprofit is to champion the five freedoms of the First Amendment through education, information and entertainment.
is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of investigative reporting. IRE was formed in 1975 to create a forum in which journalists throughout the world could help each other by sharing story ideas, newsgathering techniques and news sources.
IRE provides members access to thousands of reporting tip sheets and other materials through its resource center and hosts conferences and specialized training throughout the country. Programs of IRE include the National Institute for Computer Assisted Reporting and DocumentCloud.

The Vanderbilt Center for Student Professional Development helps students effectively develop their professional capabilities, define their identities and build resilience as they prepare for employment in a rapidly changing world.
